The basis for Body-Oriented Therapy is the relationship between the body and its thoughts, emotions and feelings.
In the Western psychotherapy this approach is fairly new; In the Oriental tradition the interaction between the physical and mental health is in fact present for thousands of years already.
Body-Oriented Therapy is a fast and very effective method that gives you a deeper insight in your personality.
With this approach you will recognize destructive behavior and gives you the tools to change and replace this into more adequate strategies.
Experiences from the past are stored in your body and will still play a role in your daily life. When these are restrictive experiences or believes from the past, they can create an imbalance between emotion and intellect. You will experience this as interference in your daily life and/ or relationship(s).
By gaining more insight in these restricting experiences, you will be more your authentic self, the person you initially intended to be.
